B.S. degree in physics astrophysics provides a substantial introduction to classical and modern physics, with advanced course emphasis in theoretical and observational astronomy. Students graduating with this degree will have a good understanding of Newtonian mechanics, electromagnetic phenomena, 热力学, and special relativity along with expertise related to the physics of stars, 星际介质, 和星系, and the methods by which each is studied. Students will also gain practical skills from laboratory and computer programming courses.
